+ St Paul’s Youth Ensemble

‘Has been established since 1979 as a charity organised by a committee consisting of members’ parents. The aim is to provide string players from Grade 1 to beyond Grade 8 (ABRSM) standard the opportunity to rehearse and perform varied styles of music under the direction of professional string tutors. We strive to provide an educational and enjoyable environment as well as encouraging the social aspect of being a young musician. The two orchestras meet on a Saturday, almost every three weeks ... There are three concerts a year offering the opportunity to perform repertoire in front of an appreciative and friendly audience.’ Based in Benton, North Tyneside.
