‘The Endcliffe Orchestra has a history of rehearsing and performing in Sheffield since 1977. The orchestra is a development group, meaning that each member is intent on improving their musical ability including technique and ensemble playing and performing. The orchestra provides a friendly and welcoming environment within which amateur musicians in Sheffield can rehearse and perform together ... The orchestra usually performs a number of concerts each year from a wide repertoire of music and uses these events to raise money for local charities. Under its constitution, the orchestra operates as a not-for-profit organisation.’
