‘Aims to become one of London's leading amateur orchestras. A City of London orchestra formed in 2011, in July 2017 we performed our debut at St John's Smith Square with Mahler Symphony No 1 ("Titan"). Our members include advanced amateur and professional musicians, and we are actively welcoming applications ... Members must be adults. Strings should be about Grade 7+ standard or equivalent. Woodwinds and brass must be Grade 8+. There is no audition ... Membership will be granted after a two-rehearsal probationary period, after the Conductor and Leader (or section leader) are satisfied as to the applicant’s suitability.’
