‘We are a very friendly group who share a love of singing. We have around 40 members and, if you are a lady, you can join too! (experienced singers through to enthusiastic novices are equally welcome) ... We have a varied calendar performing at weddings and giving recitals at local events - usually finishing with a couple of Christmas concerts held at local churches ... We introduce new music regularly as well as singing from a broad repertoire of classical and modern songs.’

We take pride in hosting a variety of original music, from established acts to emerging talent. We also host poetry, film, theatre, and comedy ... John Peel was an English disc jockey, radio presenter and journalist. He was the longest-serving of the original BBC Radio 1 DJ’s broadcasting regularly from 1967 until his death in 2004. He was known for his eclectic taste in music and his honest and warm broadcasting style.‘
