‘The Choir of Rural South Warwickshire ... Based in Shipston on Stour, a non-auditioning, mixed choir singing a range of choral works ... We offer an exciting and ambitious programme of major choral works which includes many of the all-time favourites and some little-known masterpieces ... Stour Singers was formed as a community choir in 1975 and is a mixed choir of about 100 singers. Our members come from a wide area including South Warwickshire and neighbouring North Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. We do not have auditions. There are many very able and experienced singers in the choir, but we do welcome beginners. Students join for free. All we ask is a love and enthusiasm for music, and a desire to sing.’
