'A successful, thriving choir but to maintain this we are constantly on the look-out for new members. Could you be one of our new recruits? You would be made very welcome. Don’t miss out! If you enjoy singing quietly to yourself, then you will enjoy singing in a choir. You will make new friends that will last a lifetime, feel more connected with the wider Caldicot community and benefit from a much busier "social" life. There are also claims that singing can make you healthier and live longer! ...'

‘Formed in 1979, and has been performing live music in the town regularly ever since ... It has about 65 members in total, of all ages & abilities ... and strives to promote and encourage the art of music within the community by giving three or more public concert performances of choral music per year, often with orchestral accompaniment. While presenting these programmes, we foster and support young and aspiring musicians ... We welcome new singers in all voice sections. We do not have a formal audition policy and ... no-one is excluded on grounds of lack of previous choral experience, ability to play instruments, etc.’

‘Singing for their own pleasure comes naturally to choristers, but how much better it is to make and take the many opportunities of sharing our enthusiasm with others. Apart from practising for two hours on two evenings each week for 47 weeks a year, the choir performs an average of 14 concerts each year and at roughly 8 weddings and corporate events. In addition, of course, there are events like the annual Remembrance Service, too. All of this choir’s concerts with the exception of the Annual Concert and the Christmas Concert are performed for charity.’
