‘Takes place every year over the last two weekends of September in Sarratt Village Hall, Hertfordshire and since its inception in 2000, has gone from strength to strength, attracting the very best in high-profile, eclectic musical talent and highlighting Sarratt as a vibrant, thriving village community ... We believe in the value of top quality musical performances and maintain that great art lifts the spirits and binds us together as a community. To maintain our principles of accessibility and a warm welcome to all, ticket costs are kept at an affordable level and the Festival welcomes faces old and new alike.‘

'Principal aim to promote music in all its aspects by organising concerts and recitals not only by established, talented performers but also aspiring youngsters. TRMS organises an annual programme of around six evening and four lunchtime chamber concerts at local venues.'

Founded in 1980: ‘Based in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, has about 70 members from Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Watford, and the wider Chilterns area ... The Choir performs three to four concerts each year.’

‘We are a large, mixed-voice choir of committed and enthusiastic singers of all ages and backgrounds, united by a love of music and choral singing. Our musical heritage in Chorleywood goes back over 100 years! We perform a wide range of choral music and welcome anyone who loves singing – no auditions are necessary. We stretch ourselves to produce great music, with three performances a year, and we always have great fun in the making.’

‘We are a locally based orchestra, welcoming all ages over grade 6 (including those who haven’t played for some time) ... We choose enjoyable and accessible music to play – changing our selection of pieces regularly to keep it interesting for everyone involved ... Our only sources of funding are membership fees, ticket sales and donations. In order to run the orchestra, we have regular expenses – the hire of a rehearsal venue, hire of music and other costs. If you would like to support what we do in the community, please consider making a donation.’

'We are a 40 strong choir, and we perform a mix of music: jazz, show tunes, pop, folk and light classical among others. We sing both a cappella and accompanied. We're here because we love singing and it's so much better with friends ... We perform throughout the year, taking part in local events as well as festivals and concerts.'

‘The Choir from the Unsung Town ... Our aim is very simple, we are a fully inclusive choir that welcomes anyone of any age that has a connection to the community of South Oxhey ... As long as you live or work within the Three Rivers District, can make 80% of our rehearsals and be in your seat ready to start singing by 7pm each Tuesday, you could be singing as part of lots of exciting opportunities in the future! Fancy it? ... We sing a wide variety of music from popular classics to classical pop.’
