'Previously a string-only orchestra, the Orchestra has now widened its scope to include wind players, giving the option to become a genuine chamber orchestra. This enables Pro Musica to bring to Lincoln much great music not regularly heard live ... If you are a string player and would be interested in playing with us, we would love to hear from you. As a guide, a minimum standard equivalent to Grade 8 or relevant orchestral playing experience is required. There is no formal audition, instead we invite you to come along to a rehearsal and play with us.'
