The Category Oundle is a subset of Northamptonshire.

We aim to keep entry fees as reasonable as possible, but in the last two years income has not kept up with rising costs ... Oundle Festival of Music and Drama gratefully acknowledges the support of its Patrons, including Oundle Town Council. It is because of their generosity that the Festival is still running. We are also grateful to local businesses who sponsor pages in our programme and syllabus. Their help enables us to keep entry fees down for our junior competitors.' Held Early April.

‘We are a mixed voice choir of some 70 voices ...There are no auditions and all are made welcome, no matter what skill level you have.’

(Not quite up to the Royal Philharmonic, but OK?) No auditions, no blame for wrong notes, and hardly any cost! Most instruments are well-represented, though a couple more in each string department  would be welcome ...’

'Participation in instrumental and choral ensembles, large and small, inspires loyalty, confidence and an appreciation of excellence. The School's Symphony, Chamber and String Orchestras, Oundle Brass, the Concert Band, the Symphonic Wind Orchestra and Big Band offer opportunities for pupils to perform in a wide variety of styles, and the Chapel Choir and Schola Cantorum maintain Oundle's strong choral tradition. There are also numerous instrumental ensembles, which perform regularly in competitions and concerts both inside and outside the School.'
