Founded 1920: ‘Each year The Society stages a musical and on occasion concerts and plays. The Society’s primary aim is to bring the magic of the theatre to local people, by local people and we are very grateful to all our members and audiences who continue to give support in order for us to continue ... We are as strong a Society as ever and regularly welcome new talented, young members, which augurs well for our future.
