'Opera should be available, attractive and accessible to everyone, so we create opportunities for people in Sunderland to experience opera and singing as participants, performers and audience members.  Our work is  professionally made and community based.  We work with composers, writers, choir leaders, vocal coaches, directors, professional singers, designers and technical teams who are experts in their fields.  Our activities range from workshops and choirs, to song-writing projects, vocal coaching and fully staged productions.  We engage with people of all ages, we encourage people of all abilities, and we unite people through opera.'
