‘MCC was the brainchild of a number of Malmesbury residents who loved to sing. We found ourselves the very best Musical Director we could, gave him complete creative control, and launched in June 2013, with very little idea whether the community would be interested. We held two free open evenings in the town hall which were swamped with eager participants. We had a total of 160 applicants to join the new choir! Taking advice from our MD we capped the choir at 80, and pulled names out of a hat – no auditions and no experience required. And what a brilliant mix of individuals we got! Since then we’ve worked incredibly hard to achieve our aim of singing professional quality, four part harmony pieces from all types of music.’

'Malmesbury Concert Band, once known as Malmesbury Town Band, has been an integral part of Malmesbury for more than 150 years ... We are a concert wind band with approximately 35 members ... We have several engagements during the year including at Bandstands in municipal parks and Concerts. Subject to vacancies, we are happy to welcome new members who play appropriate brass and woodwind, and occasionally percussion, instruments - particularly those who are confident sight-readers and of a reasonable playing standard.'

'Our 10.30am Abbey service is not dissimilar to the Sunday morning worship of some of our ancient Anglican Cathedrals—with a large robed choir and ministers, beautiful hymns, anthems and liturgy ... The 4pm is an informal, contemporary service with dedicated provision for children and young people. You can expect passionate worship led by a band, children’s games and activities, coffee in the middle of the service, occasional videos or interviews ... On the fourth Sunday of the month at 6.30pm people are drawn from all over North Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire for an inspiring Choral Evensong sung by the Abbey choir. The liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer and readings from the King James Version of the Bible are accompanied by sung responses, psalms, canticles and anthems.'

'A part volunteer-run arts centre, converted in 2016 from a former Great Western Railway building.  Shed-Arts opened in the spring of 2017 having received generous support from Tetbury Town Council, the general public and regional donors. The first season of events was varied but always informed by our vision for the Goods Shed to become a regional centre of artistic excellence in the Cotswolds.  Shed-Arts provides arts and entertainment in an iconic building that doubles as a community hub.'
