+ Polperro Fishermen's Choir

'Formed in 1923 in Polperro (where we still perform regularly in the Methodist Chapel), we aim to provide the very best in traditional Cornish and modern choral music. The objective of the choir’s charity is the advancement of public education in choral music and, to that end, we accept invitations to visit schools, hospitals and care homes and we ensure that almost all of our concerts are free, while raising large sums for various charities. The majority of our concerts are in the local area, including Looe RNLI boathouse which has surprisingly good acoustics, but we also travel much more widely when we can.'
