‘Our Festival is competitive and currently encompasses four disciplines, namely Music, Speech, Accordion & Fiddle and Scottish Country Dancing ... These events currently take place over four weekends from the end of February through March in local venues and provide a platform for the many talented youngsters and adults we have in the region and beyond. The competitors are given positive feedback about their performance from well-qualified adjudicators, together with pointers and encouragement on how to improve their skills.’
