'Consists of some 125 members spread throughout the county. The object of the Association is to promote the friendly interchange of ideas on all matters of interest to organists and choirmasters. With the exception of August and December monthly meetings are held on Saturdays and include recitals, lectures, discussions and visits to places of interest in various parts of the county and sometimes further afield ... Membership of the Association is not based on the ability to play; we welcome equally those who enjoy listening as well as those who enjoy playing.'

Founded 1983: ‘With some six concerts a year we bring high quality choral singing to towns and villages throughout Kent, occasionally elsewhere in the UK and abroad. Drawing on membership of forty or so singers our repertoire ranges from simple miniatures to complex music for two or more choirs. We programme all kinds of sacred music from the 15th to the 21st centuries and often include a diverse mix of secular items. Although much of what we sing is unaccompanied, a large-scale work with orchestra is a regular feature’.

‘Freelance professional orchestra for the County of Kent with a core of members who either live in Kent, or have strong links with the County; many also play with the major London orchestras and throughout the country. We provide: * Live classical concerts; * Live opera performances; * Arts projects, educational workshops and presentations for schools and the community; * Music for corporate and other events; * Opportunities for arts funding and sponsorship; * Availability to accompany choral societies, opera companies and other performing groups and artists.’
