’The Parish Church is the largest church in Derbyshire and is famous locally and internationally for its crooked spire, attracting visitors from around the world ... The Choir has a varied repertoire; anthems and service settings are sung, from medieval to modern, accompanied and unaccompanied. There is always a different choral setting for the Sunday Sung Eucharist, and Sunday Choral Evensong consists of settings of the canticles, responses and an anthem.’ The Church is also used as a venue for a wide variety of concerts and recitals, including regular series of Thursday Lunchtime Recitals.
