* Priddy Folk Festival

'Priddy is a small village on top of the Mendip Hills above Cheddar Gorge and the city of Wells. It is around 15miles from both Bristol and Bath ... In 1991 the PTA started the Folk Festival as a fund raiser in the village hall. Since then, the Festival has grown, but still remains true to its roots. It is organised and run by a group of volunteers dedicated to bringing good music into Priddy. It is a fundraising event for charity with the stated aims of promoting music and arts and improving the environs of Priddy.' Held Early July.
