‘Devised by The Highland Council in partnership with Fèisean nan Gàidheal and the Promoters Arts Network ... The BLAS Festival aims to play a role in celebrating the culture of traditional music and Gaelic in the Highlands of Scotland. BLAS will do this in part by creating the opportunities for young musicians to play and learn with leading artists in traditional music and Gaelic. BLAS will also widen the opportunities for communities to experience and enjoy live music and Gaelic performances which support their culture.’ Held Mid November at a wide range of venues across Highland.
