'A bunch of enthusiastic folkies that meet weekly to share words and music in a very broad folk tradition.​ In addition to the club regulars we warmly welcome many visitors, both performers and audience, to our club nights ... We encourage a wide variety of styles within our club, almost to the point of "All Music is Folk Music". From Medieval and Renaissance lute music and song, through folk song and dance of later centuries, to the more recent folk revival and singer/songwriter genre ... The only limitation that we tend to hold to is that we are primarily an ACOUSTIC club.'
