‘One of the two oldest folk clubs in the country and has been a world famous venue since 1958. No other club has run for so long in the same venue and it has been host to many of the great legends of folk. Our guest nights feature local, national and occasionally international artists. Every week you are guaranteed fine singers and musicians. We focus on traditional material, particularly from Tyneside and the North East, but other styles of acoustic music within the same spirit are welcomed.‘
