‘In January 2006, a group of people known as The Friends of the Village Pump at the Lamb took control of the former home of the Village Pump Folk Club ...  The Friends have signed a lease with the building’s owner, Wadsworth & Company and are using the building as a music & arts venue ... Friday Folk runs between the start of September and the end of May. We have been entertained by the full range of guests from the long established stars to those just setting out on the journey. Usually the guest is on the first Friday of the month and the open mic. on the third.‘
