‘Essex Music Services – part of Essex County Council – is the lead partner in Essex Music Education Hub which is supported by funding from the Department for Education which comes to us via Arts Council England. Along with partner organisations that make up the Hub, we offer a range of musical services, projects and opportunities throughout Essex schools and within the community.’

‘A friendly group of both players and non-players, who meet each month in different venues in Essex and beyond, for an exciting and very broad series of meetings and events.’

‘For young students already learning an instrument, our music groups offer further opportunities to enhance skills,  meet other like-minded musicians and have the chance to perform in concerts throughout the year ... We pride ourselves on our friendly and accessible varied range of groups. Entry is open to most of the groups without auditions but some groups require passes in various graded exams and auditions.  For Essex Youth Orchestra and Essex Youth Jazz Orchestra we hold audition workshops which help young players develop skills in the art of auditioning.’
