+ Wandle Concert Band

'Founded in October 2012. The name was chosen to reflect the area that most of our musicians come from: the River Wandle flows from Carshalton, through Morden, Wimbledon and Wandsworth to the Thames. We rehearse at  and perform around the area ... Our standard varies from Grade 3 to Grade 8 and above, but the key requirement is enthusiasm! It doesn’t matter if you are a bit rusty - a few of us had a break of 30 years before picking up our instruments again. We are a very versatile band with a wide repertoire: jazz, show tunes, film and TV themes, pop and rock songs and even a little bit of classical. We aim for up to six concerts/performances a year.'
