‘Our band was formed in September 2013, with the aim of teaching adults with little or no previous musical experience, to play wind instruments. Since then we have worked hard to improve our musical ability and we are now playing at approximately Grade 3 level. Our continued development is due to dedicated practising and plenty of performance opportunities ... Currently our band comprises of flutes, clarinets, alto/ tenor and baritone saxes, euphonium, trombones, trumpets, bass guitar and drums, which means we have a well balanced sound but we are always happy to welcome new players.’
