'A community music group for adults, which began in 1976. We practise and perform as two amateur bands - a Training band ... and a Main band ... Our musical directors encourage us to play a wide range of music - anything from pop, jazz, folk and film themes to arrangements of classical music and challenging 20th and 21st century wind band music. We perform regularly in formal concerts throughout the year and on bandstands during the Summer months.'
