'We are a small choir of some 40 voices drawn from the rolling hills and valleys in the heart of the Brecon Beacons ... We are the Voices of the Beacons ... We sing a wide range of music from West End pieces to famous operettas and not forgetting the traditional Welsh hymns. Even though the choir’s repertoire includes many pieces sung in Welsh, fluent Welsh speakers make up a small minority of our members. Although this may sound daunting to English speakers, our Musical Director gives great encouragement and assistance with the pronunciation.'
