'The aim  of the band is to perform in public as often as possible, giving all players a target to aim for.  The band is an unregistered band and competes where an appropriate section is available with a considerable amount of success ... The current band comprises of players of all ages and abilities.  With the training band becoming well established, players from the training band come through into the senior band as they become proficient ... The repertoire we play ranges from traditional brass band music to arrangements of contemporary music, giving enjoyment to all ages of players and audiences alike.'
