‘A friendly amateur orchestra based in Cambridge, England. We mainly play works drawn from the classical repertoire and give a concert at the end of each school term, usually on a Thursday or Saturday. The orchestra exists to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals. Keen amateur players of any age are welcomed as new members without audition, subject to a reasonable balance between sections.’
