‘Founded in 1974 by Nancy Jacks as the Uckfield Youth Orchestra, it started with five members, soon increased to twenty, and was later joined by adults, and it established a series of charity concerts. In 1995 it took its present name ... We welcome all ages, and especially brass players! ... We perform in Buxted Park, Uckfield and in Seaford, giving concerts three or four times a year.’
