‘A lively, friendly, amateur orchestra that started as an evening class for adults wanting to experience playing in an orchestra ... We perform two classical concerts each year and one concert specifically themed for children ... We consider ourselves to be a "learning and training" orchestra. As such, we purposely do not have a formal audition for aspiring new members. We want to give adult "learner and returner" musicians the opportunity to experience playing in an orchestra. We suggest that those who have a playing standard of Associated Board Grade 6 or above would enjoy the experience of playing in our orchestra.’
