'Formed in the 1930s under the name “Blofield & District Silver Band”, the band has undergone several changes, moving to Strumpshaw, Freethorpe and then Cantley ... In September 2015 we made the exciting decision to become a concert/wind band and invite woodwind players to join for the first time. This has allowed for a range of new music, a larger band for concerts and engagements, and provides a progression route for those in the Training Band.'
