'Formed originally in 1951 for Boots employees, for many years now we have extended a warm welcome to local amateur musicians. Previous orchestral experience is necessary, as is the ability to sight-read. Supported by Boots UK, we give three concerts a year for charity in a variety of locations in the Nottingham area – usually in March, June and November – so that everyone has the chance to come and enjoy, with all proceeds going to the venue’s chosen charity.'
