‘Epworth is a large village - some call it a small town - in North Lincolnshire. Initially held on 21st June, Epworth Music Day is now held on the nearest Saturday to the 21st of June. For the whole of that day - normally from 10am to 11pm - the village operates as one large base for music, dance and song. A bit like a large session venue - but across the community. We attract all types of music, song and dance, and the performances are both informal and impromptu as well as programmed. No one gets paid to perform and all performances are free of charge to enjoy.’
