+ March Can’t Sing Choir
Listing Details
'March Can’t Sing Choir formed in September 2016 with a grant from the Healthy Fenland Fund. A voluntary committee formalised in February 2017 to manage our activities and funding since then. We remain a not-for-profit community organisation that meets every Wednesday ... We have more than forty singers in the choir, with a revolving group of about thirty who come each week when choir fits around other personal activities ... We sing for the fun of it, and for the health-giving benefits both physical and mental. We gain improvements in self-confidence, friendship and companionship with the uplifting warmth of laughter along the way. We have an age range of 18 - 99+. There are no auditions, no need to read music, nor be a particularly good singer. Just turn up, be a tryer, and you’ll be fine. We provide the words, you just have to sing along.'
