+ Peninsula Choir [Cove Burgh]

‘The Peninsula Choir was set up in September 2010. We have a membership of almost 50. Week to week around 35 of us get together to sing and learn our new repertoire for the two concerts we put on in a season ...  The majority of the members do not read music ... We never hold auditions. All welcome. This is a community choir.’ The Choir are based in Cove Burgh Hall, which was bought by the local community from Argyll & Bute Council in 2001, determined to ‘make it the vibrant, focal hub "soul" of the communities of Cove, Kilcreggan and the wider Rosneath Peninsula in terms of adding distinct value to the everyday social and cultural lives and wellbeing of local residents’.
