+ Gargunnock Songsters

‘We are a small, enthusiastic, mixed voice community choir and whilst we started in Gargunnock and continue to hold our rehearsals here, our members now come from the surrounding Forth Valley villages - Drymen, Kippen, Thornhill, Doune, Blair Logie, Dunblane ... We all have very different musical backgrounds. Some of us can't read music at all and some of us are still at school but what we all have in common is a love of music and getting together for a good sing. We sing all sorts of music - music from the Shows, some shorter Choral works, traditional Scottish songs, fun songs and singalongs. We have even ventured into Coldplay and U2 ! ... Our philosophy, as it was when we first started, is to sing for the joy and fun of singing, and we hope our audiences will enjoy the experience too.’
