'Our main event is the June Festival which is supported by a winter series, and together with an education programme of in-school workshops, master classes, a family concert and our Ulverston Festival Chorus for local singers, we provide a packed musical calendar giving people of all ages in the community the opportunity to experience the very best of classical music either as a listener or participant, and to help develop their skills and confidence through interaction with professional musicians.'
