'Founded in 1947 ... Our Spring Concerts each May are the culmination of several months of rehearsals and provide an opportunity for family, friends and the local community to share the choir’s enjoyment of great choral music. The choir also hosts a Christmas Concert in December, a more informal occasion where the choir performs a range of Christmas music, together with solo performances and festive readings from members of the choir, interspersed with familiar Christmas carols for the audience to sing along to.'
