'There are about sixty singers in the choir, which was founded in November 1969 ... New Members are always welcome, especially tenors and basses! We are a very friendly group, and will make you feel at home. You don’t need to be able to read music as we teach all of the parts. You just need to be able to sing in tune. There is no formal audition to join the choir however you will be asked to sing a simple song in a variety of keys to assess your vocal range.'
