‘We present classical choral music in Yorkshire and elsewhere in Britain. We have 150 performing members in soprano, alto, tenor and bass sections ... Founded in 1858, the Chorus was re-formed every three years for the Leeds Festival. Since 1985 we have been independent, giving a full annual concert programme.‘
