+ Paddock Wood Choral Society

‘A mixed-voice choir of around 45 members. PWCS began life in January 1980 as an evening class at Mascalls School, later becoming an independent, fully-functioning choral society ... Our repertoire covers all eras of music from the renaissance to pop. The Christmas concert usually features one or two main works plus carols, and for the spring concert the choir engages professional soloists and is usually accompanied by The Henham Chamber Orchestra. This performance often consists of more serious works and the orchestra performs a work of its own.
The summer concert is in lighter vein, perhaps involving groups from local schools and other guests.’
