+ Skipton Choral Society

'Skipton Choral Society is a mixed choir of around 60 singers and is open to anyone who enjoys singing. There are no auditions, although a basic ability to read music is useful (you definitely don't need to be a good sight-singer!).  We cover a wide range of types of music, mainly traditional but also some more innovative pieces. The choir has been running since 2013 and, whilst it is based in Skipton, membership comes from many of the surrounding towns and villages. We are a friendly group of singers and welcome new members. We meet on Monday evenings in Christ Church, Skipton and start at 7.00pm and finish at 9.00pm. We usually perform three major concerts each year. Why not come along and give us a try?
