‘Founded around 1972. Apart from performing the major oratorios and cantatas of baroque, romantic and 20th century composers, we have included works by Poulenc, Rutter and Karl Jenkins, and we very much enjoy singing lighter and more popular music in social settings, such as American cabaret style concerts and Scots Nights.  Our members come from Lanark, Carluke, Dalserf, Kirkmuirhill and further afield from across North and South Lanarkshire.’
