+ Horsley Choral Society

'Horsley Choral Society is a mixed choir of just under 70 singers founded in the 1920's and still going strong. HCS sings a variety of music, mostly classical choral music, but concerts have also included music from the movies, opera, show tunes, spirituals and jazz classics; in other words music both ancient and modern. The choir performs two concerts a year with professional soloists and musicians and also at the annual Leith Hill Music Festival at Dorking Halls. The choir regularly enjoys singing by invitation at public and private events. There is no audition; all that is needed is the ability to hold a tune and a love of singing. Singers of all voice parts are welcome to try a free taster rehearsal any Monday evening.'
