‘HCO is an amateur orchestra of a very high standard. Each performance is led by an experienced professional player, and the orchestra works with a diverse range of distinguished guest conductors and directors. We promote our own concerts three times a year, each of which is prepared intensively over a residential rehearsal weekend. We also accompany choral societies.’
