* Great Comp Music Festival

‘In 1973 the late Roderick and Joy Cameron, who created Great Comp’s beautiful 7-acre garden, began holding concerts in the comfortable converted stable beside the 17th century manor house. From this grew the annual Festival – “a mini-Glyndebourne of chamber music” – which quickly earned a reputation for the high quality of its concerts, performed by artists of international repute. The Festival is now run by a registered charity, the Great Comp Music Trust.’ Held primarily during the months of July and September.
