'A nationally renowned rural music festival where people from all walks of life experience and enjoy extraordinary music performed by world-class artists, in stunning locations. The Festival was borne out of the devastation caused by the Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak in 2001, which decimated the UK farming and tourism industries. John and Penny Adie, Devon locals, were inspired to help regenerate the local economy and bring light and encouragement to people’s lives by producing a week of stunning music-making on the "Two Moors" of Exmoor and Dartmoor.'
