+ Tan House Singers
Listing Details
‘A small mixed voice choir based at Blaisdon in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, drawing members from all over the Forest and Gloucester areas ... They took their name from the house in Blaisdon where the first rehearsals were held in 1983. Over the years the choir has grown in stature and reputation, and has performed widely in Gloucestershire, elsewhere in England and in Europe. The choir puts on at least two major concerts each year and supports local and international charities ... We are always interested in recruiting new singers. We don’t audition, but you are welcome to join us at one of our regular rehearsals and find out if we suit each other. We don’t expect you to be able to sight-sing, but some music reading ability is an advantage.‘
