‘A chamber choir of about 40 voices which performs regularly with orchestras in Leicestershire and beyond ... Main concerts are usually performed in Leicester but recitals, including some lighter music, are given throughout the county in country houses and village churches. Leicestershire Chorale has been acclaimed by music critics as one of the region's leading amateur choirs. It performs a wide range of choral music by composers from the 15th to the 21st centuries. Outreach projects include workshops for members of the public and special choral events for school students.’
