‘A mixed amateur choir of 40 to 50 members ... performing since 1978 ... Our programme normally comprises three concerts a year: * A spring concert of standard classical works; * A summer concert of lighter music - madrigals, spirituals and part songs from Bruckner to the Beatles, and Sullivan to Seiber; * A seasonal Christmas concert of carols and other music ... Enthusiastic singers who can read music are always welcome; there are no auditions.’
